Professional Development

Therapeutic Training

Equipping social workers, carers, and education staff with trauma-informed practice and therapeutic parenting skills.

The Challenge

Caring without the right tools

Professionals and carers supporting traumatised children are often deeply committed but under-equipped. Without trauma-informed understanding, well-meaning responses can inadvertently escalate distress, and carers face burnout, compassion fatigue, and placement breakdown.

Children need adults who understand what their behaviour is communicating - and who have the practical skills to respond therapeutically, not reactively.

Our Approach

Training that transforms

Our therapeutic training bridges the gap between clinical theory and everyday practice. Delivered by experienced clinicians, our programmes combine attachment theory, neuroscience, and practical strategies - giving your team the confidence and competence to support traumatised children.

We don't just deliver training and leave. We walk alongside your team, embedding reflective practice and clinical supervision that sustains change long after the sessions end.

Case Study

Transforming a residential team

A children's residential home with four young people was experiencing high staff turnover, frequent incidents, and two imminent placement breakdowns. The registered manager commissioned our 3-day Therapeutic Parenting programme, followed by monthly reflective practice sessions.

Six months later, the team reported a fundamentally different culture - staff felt equipped, incidents had reduced significantly, and both at-risk placements had stabilised.
